The Story
A quarter sock sits just above the ankle bone. This is the light one of our three.
The tag, plainly: stretch nylon first, then polyester, then merino wool at about a fifth, then a little spandex. It is not a merino sock. It is a light sock with merino in it, and we would rather say so than let the name say otherwise.
It is knit in Sheboygan by Wigwam, who have been at it since 1905.
