Work With Us

If you make something with your hands, we want to hear about it.

There is no application to be good at. Pick whichever of these is easiest for you and we will take it from there.

A Teams call or a video call works too, and so does a photo of a bench with no words attached. If it is easier to show us than to write it down, show us.

Or, if typing is easier

Six boxes, three of which are optional.

Rough is fine. A few words beats a paragraph you have to write twice.

How should we get back to you?

One of the two is plenty. We use them to answer you and for nothing else, and neither one ever appears on the site.

Or call us and skip all of this.

What happens after you send it

  1. 1
We read it and answerA person, not a queue. You hear back either way, by whichever channel you picked.
  2. 2
We talk it throughWhat you make, what you can make, what it costs you, and what you would want out of it. No forms in this part.
  3. 3
You get a benchThe Workbench is your own page here: what we are waiting on from you, what we owe you, and a direct line that lands in the same place your emails do. Nothing you send it goes public without your say-so.
  4. 4
Your name stays on the workWe brand the box and tell the story. You sign the piece. We will never put your name on the site until you tell us in writing that you are fine with it.
