Wigwam's El Pine, style F2044, knit by Wigwam Mills in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. 76% wool, 22% stretch nylon, 2% spandex, straight off the tag. Grey Twist or Red Heather, in MD or LG.
Wigwam's first customers, in 1905, were Wisconsin lumbermen who needed a heavy wool sock that would not quit at noon.
El Pine is the one Wigwam pointed us at first. Of the three we carry it is the wool sock: three quarters wool, with enough nylon and spandex to hold its shape.
It is knit in Sheboygan, about twenty minutes from our door. We're proud to offer it. Wigwam makes a great sock.
