Teak Branch Stool
A stool built from sculptural teak branch sections, hand-shaped in Bali and sealed. There is exactly one, because there was exactly one branch.
A branch is a tree's rough draft of an idea, and teak's ideas hold up. This one grew in Bali until it was more sculpture than branch, at which point somebody with good hands and better patience shaped it into a stool and sealed it.
There is exactly one. Not one design. One stool. It will hold a person, a plant, or a stack of books with equal conviction, and when it sells, the listing retires the way one-offs do. The next branch will have different ideas entirely.
