Find the toy that lasted, and work out why.
Larry could have been built exactly the way one was in 1955: wood shavings inside, glass eyes on wire, metal pins in his joints. Beautiful, and not allowed to be a child's toy, because all three come loose. Dan decided: Larry is for the kid who designed him and anybody younger, so he gets locking eyes, joints that cannot be pulled out, and wool inside, and he has to last until that kid is forty. Now find the oldest soft toy in your house. Who did it belong to first? What has been resewn, and what fell off? That list is Larry's homework.
IdeaA rule is somebody's answer to somebody getting hurt. A thirty-year toy is built so the rule and the repair are both already in it.

Fulfillment is what a grown-up calls this station on a resume. It is one of five, it always happens in this order, and skipping it does not save you the work. It only moves the work to a later station where it costs more.
