The Borgen Front-Pocket Wallet
A front-pocket wallet in full-grain leather, cut and stitched by Hutch Leather Works. Light brown, dark brown or black. Hutch's own maker's mark stays on the leather; we only make the box it arrives in.
A back-pocket wallet is a slow injury you agree to. It tilts you every time you sit down. The front-pocket wallet is the correction, and it also happens to be harder to lift off you.
This one is cut and stitched by Hutch, one person with a bench, not a factory line. The leather is full grain, which means it carries the animal's own surface rather than a sanded-and-sprayed imitation of one. It will darken where your hand goes and stay pale where it does not, and in two years it will be a record of how you carried it.
His mark stays on the wallet. That is our rule and it is not negotiable. We are not in the business of sanding someone's name off their own work and printing ours over it.
