How big is every single part?

Try this at the table.
One for each object. A grayed-out one is not us being lazy. It is a thing that cannot honestly be done until somebody clears the gate written on it. Do any one of the open ones, then stamp your card.
The drawings are signed.
Seven sheets, signed and released at Rev K on 5 September. Signed means nobody may change a line without moving the letter in the REV box and writing down why, so every shop that prices it is pricing the same airplane. Now sign one of yours: draw something, and get somebody who is not you to check it and put their name on it.
IdeaRevision control. A signed drawing only changes with a new letter, and everybody can see that it did.
Print the drawing and find eight hinges.
This is sheet one of Max, the real one, the same page a shop gets. Every number on it is millimeters. Somewhere on it are eight places where he bends. Find all eight, then look at your own arm and work out why a shoulder needs one and an elbow needs a different one.

Flatten something round and see where it lies.
Larry is sewn out of twenty-one flat pieces, and none of them started flat. Take an orange, peel it in one go, and press the peel down onto the table. It will not lie flat. It tears, or it wrinkles, and where it does is exactly where a pattern has to cheat. Then look at the side of his head, the piece that cheats the most, and at his foot pad, which does not cheat at all.
IdeaYou cannot press a ball flat. Every map of the world and every stuffed animal is a different answer to the same problem.

The word for what you just did is design engineering.
Design engineering is what a grown-up calls this station on a resume. It is one of five, it always happens in this order, and skipping it does not save you the work. It only moves the work to a later station where it costs more.
