The Blanket That Ends the Campfire Argument

Every campsite has the same standoff. The fire is doing its best, the temperature dropped faster than anyone planned for, and there is exactly one blanket between two people who are both too proud to ask for it outright. Someone ends up half-covered and pretending they're fine. Nobody is fine.

The obvious fix is a second blanket, which sounds too simple to be the whole answer, but it is. We went with actual wool, heavy enough that you notice it land on your lap, because the thin fleece kind is really just a suggestion of warmth. It has to survive being dragged out of a truck bed and sat on before it ever gets used for its actual job.

We are not going to pretend the camp blanket solves anything more important than this. It solves this specific, recurring, faintly ridiculous problem, and does it well enough that the next argument at your campsite can be about something that actually matters — whose turn it is to cook.
